On a road trip, the phone running the maps is usually the one at 5%. The LISEN plugs into your car’s 12V socket and charges up to four devices at once, and two of its cables pull out and wind back in, so there’s no loose wire tangle by the gearstick.
What it does well
Four devices at once: two retractable cables (USB-C and Lightning) that reach up to 31.5 in, plus two USB ports.
Fast where it matters: a 45W PD USB-C output charges modern phones and many tablets quickly, with 84W total.
Adjustable head: tilts through 180° to fit awkward dashboards.
Cover: 24-month replacement promise from the maker.
Know before you buy
It needs a 12V cigarette-lighter socket, not a car USB port.
It only charges: no CarPlay, Bluetooth or data.
Not compatible with Micro-USB devices.
To retract a cable: pull it about 1 cm further, then let go.
