Takeaway in the hotel room, street food on a park bench, a picnic on a road trip: plastic cutlery snaps and lands in the bin. A real stainless steel set weighs almost nothing in a day bag and makes every one of those meals easier.

What’s included

• Adult-size fork, spoon and knife
• Chopsticks with laser-etched tips for better grip
• A slim 9.0 × 2.1 in carry case

Why it’s well made

• Food-grade 18/8 stainless steel: resists rust and corrosion, and it’s dishwasher-safe.
• Quiet case: an elastic band stops the cutlery rattling.
• Easy-clean lining: the case has a waterproof aluminium-foil lining, so you can pack it straight after eating and wash it later.

Know before you buy

• Metal knives may not be allowed through airport security in your cabin bag. Pack the set in checked luggage, or leave the knife out when you fly.
